Gregorio Lando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Leheren, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the game, Donato Munio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fontana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reincidentes FC the free kick. The supporters of Reincidentes FC booed when Fontana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Munio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceferino Tabby hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Edelmiro Fliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gregorio Lando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Saul Nuno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Saul Nuno fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Clemente Marques, passed just outside the right post. Genaro Leheren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gregorio Lando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Edelmiro Fliz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fontana's Gregorio Lando. Gregorio Lando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reincidentes FC's Edelmiro Fliz got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelo Haritzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Clemente Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Ceferino Tabby's late challenge caught a Fontana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Tabby helped the player get up and apologised. After 57 played minutes Reincidentes FC got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Tabby. 58 minutes into the game, Marcelo Haritzeder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Clemente Marques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Genaro Leheren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Edelmiro Fliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Nuno struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Clemente Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fontana. 68 minutes into the game, Zeledon Claus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fontana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reincidentes FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fontana's Zeledon Claus got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute, Edelmiro Fliz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Genaro Leheren struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Gregorio Lando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reincidentes FC. After a defensive mix-up in Reincidentes FC's zone, Marcelo Haritzeder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Marques came out of the goal and Marcelo Haritzeder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Marcelo Haritzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fontana's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Haritzeder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 83 minutes, Marcelo Haritzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fontana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Haritzeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Leheren in the 90th minute of play forced Fontana's goalkeeper Gregorio Lando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Reincidentes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Nuno came free, but Clemente Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Nuno struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Clemente Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fontana. In the 95th minute, Marcelo Haritzeder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fontana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Reincidentes FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
