A hard shot 3 in the game by Aureliano Leoiar from a close distance when the talented Marcial Garin managed to make a qualified save. Meseta FC's players were relieved. Hector Dei hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Marcial Garin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Mantzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute Lucas Cibran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Garin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Aureliano Leoiar made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Leoiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Garin was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Romulo Mantzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Garin having to interfere. Vladimiro Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Gaizko in the 60th minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Meseta FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Garoa. After having played for 73 minutes, Bernardo Garoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meseta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Garoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Quimilí players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
