An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Polentzi in the 9th minute of play forced hipo's goalkeeper Romeo Tristan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Corderro's late challenge caught a Meseta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Corderro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, hipo's Haroldo Corderro got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 13 minutes, Bernardo Garoa made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. hipo's Romeo Tristan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute of the match Andres Cisco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcial Garin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of hipo booed when Meseta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Dei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Meseta FC's Marcial Garin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Donio in the 34th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Meseta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Garoa to strike the kick off in the second half. Romeo Tristan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Garoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After having played for 54 minutes, Luis Gaizko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meseta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Gaizko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeo Tristan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Dei in the 58th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Meseta FC's Bernardo Garoa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeo Tristan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64thth minute of the game Hector Dei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but hipo's Romeo Tristan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute, one of hipo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for hipo. The referee gave Meseta FC a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bernardo Martino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of hipo's Romeo Tristan. 3-1. Bernardo Garoa took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romeo Tristan. Romeo Tristan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 75th minute Bernardo Garoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Tristan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolando Santo during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, hipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Santo to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Garoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Hector Dei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meseta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Dei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Tristan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernardo Garoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Garoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Garoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Tristan having to interfere. There was no doubt that Meseta FC were the better team. Meseta FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
