In the 4th minute of the match Gavino Soin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elpidio Remicio skillfully saved the ball. Carlos Phelipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Elpidio Remicio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Phelipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elpidio Remicio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Norino in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Carlos Phelipe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanabria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Phelipe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Patagones CADP's Cirilo Vergaray got a free kick in the 14th minute. Raimundo Norino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elpidio Remicio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Phelipe's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Raimundo Norino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanabria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Norino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Carlos Phelipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Norino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Remicio having to interfere. Santo Filipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Norino to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Tibalt in the 56th minute of play forced Sanabria's goalkeeper Justo Rodas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, Deportivo Patagones CADP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Calvet to maneuver through the defense. The Sanabria fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Sanabria's Carlos Phelipe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Melchor Caitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melchor Caitano kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Justo Rodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Filipo in the 78th minute of the match. Santo Filipo charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santo Filipo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Santo Filipo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Sanabria's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Tibalt came free, but Justo Rodas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Santo Filipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Rodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Tibalt in the 93rd minute of the match. Santo Filipo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justo Rodas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sanabria's zone, Santo Filipo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Rodas came out of the goal and Santo Filipo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
