Bruno Aresti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Bernebe having to interfere. Pedernera AFC were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Girardet Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Justo Jenaro took the corner. Justo Jenaro made a great header on Pedernera AFC's corner, it was just that Girardet Futbol Club's Marcelino Bernebe managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Casimiro Ebardo sped through Girardet Futbol Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelino Bernebe. After 32 played minutes Pedernera AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Aresti. Marcelino Bernebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Aresti in the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Bruno Aresti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pedernera AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Aresti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Bernebe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelino Bernebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Ebardo in the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of Pedernera AFC booed when Girardet Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Frantzes didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Aresti couldn't finish the play. Casimiro Ebardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Marcelino Bernebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Aresti in the 52nd minute of play forced Girardet Futbol Club's goalkeeper Marcelino Bernebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 52 played minutes Girardet Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Tallia. In the 54th minute, Domingos Tallia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Casimiro Ebardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Librado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Sadurni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Bruno Aresti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute Bruno Aresti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Bernebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Pedernera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Isaio to maneuver through the defense. 0-2 became the score in the 71st minute when Bruno Aresti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Aresti in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelino Bernebe saved Girardet Futbol Club from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Amador Onbera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Marcelino Bernebe managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Pedernera AFC's Tobias Isaio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 87 minutes into the game, Pedernera AFC's Casimiro Ebardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelino Bernebe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Armando Idacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Aresti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Marcelino Bernebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Pedernera AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Girardet Futbol Club throughout the match.
