The Aguante el Softbol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Lisandro Guerrero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguante el Softbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Guerrero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Abar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ermegildo Ramone fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Marcial Abar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Lizardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The supporters of Aguante el Softbol booed when el viejo fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Jacob didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristo Lizardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Abar having to interfere. Cristo Lizardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Marcial Abar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. el viejo fc's Marcial Abar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Lizardi in the 94th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Anacleto Jacob hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in el viejo fc's zone, Lisandro Guerrero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Abar came out of the goal and Lisandro Guerrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aguante el Softbol's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
