When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Santo Fonso sped through C.A. Huracan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernabe Crescencio. In the 13th minute, Gustavo López hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santo Fonso in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernabe Crescencio saved C.A. Huracan from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Delmar Florin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santo Fonso in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernabe Crescencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. Huracan's goalkeeper Bernabe Crescencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Ignado in the 25th minute of play forced Toroyaco's goalkeeper Jeremias Montrelle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Ignado struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Jeremias Montrelle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Huracan. Jeremias Montrelle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Ignado in the 30th minute of the match. If Ramon Ignado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fermin Vargas's late challenge caught a Toroyaco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fermin Vargas helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes C.A. Huracan got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Vargas. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo López to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernabe Crescencio made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Santo Fonso sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute, C.A. Bernabe Crescencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santo Fonso's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Vicente Quinten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toroyaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Quinten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernabe Crescencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basilio Precioso kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ramon Ignado got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 78th minute, Ramon Ignado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toroyaco's Jeremias Montrelle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo López in the 80th minute of play. Santo Fonso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernabe Crescencio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Toroyaco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo López was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
