The audience was convinced that Samuel Ponce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Igor Bikendi was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 5th minute, Samuel Ponce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Chap showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Rafael Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 17 minutes, Samuel Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Provoleta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Ponce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igor Bikendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Frascuelo in the 18th minute of the match. If Damian Guillen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Guillen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rafael Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Club Atletico Aldosivi's Rafael Duardo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 45th minute, Placido Boniel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 55th match minute, Club Atletico Aldosivi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Duardo to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Frascuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Bikendi having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Aldosivi's goalkeeper Igor Bikendi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patricio Frascuelo. After 69 minutes, Damian Guillen made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Provoleta FC's Tomas Chap tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Atletico Aldosivi had won after a very even match.
