Laureano Ospin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Elivareo having to interfere. Amadeo Oxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, DUENDES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Oxel came free, but Geronimo Elivareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, DUENDES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Salamon to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 22 minutes, Amadeo Oxel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nonogasta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeo Oxel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Amadeo Oxel sped through DUENDES FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Geronimo Elivareo. 29 minutes into the match, Amadeo Oxel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geronimo Elivareo. DUENDES FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeo Oxel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Nonogasta's Antonio Eder got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeo Oxel in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geronimo Elivareo saved DUENDES FC from getting behind. Rolando Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Elivareo having to interfere. In the 44th minute Amadeo Oxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Elivareo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Giraldo made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fermin Gabrio during the 52nd minute. Nonogasta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
