Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Emiliano Rocio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Giraldo in the 4th minute of play forced Ares FC's goalkeeper Gaudencio Guillelme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Innocenzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Geronimo Elivareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Salamon hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Mario Salamon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, DUENDES FC's goalkeeper Geronimo Elivareo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Innocenzio. If Emiliano Rocio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes DUENDES FC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Cordarryl. Emiliano Rocio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geronimo Elivareo came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Ares FC's Anselmo Innocenzio. But to his dismay, Anselmo Innocenzio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After having played for 32 minutes, Gustavo Giraldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DUENDES FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Giraldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Gustavo Giraldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaudencio Guillelme. Ares FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Giraldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, DUENDES FC's Leon Leguizamón got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute Gustavo Giraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Guillelme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, DUENDES FC's Fermin Gabrio got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Ares FC's Emiliano Rocio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geronimo Elivareo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaudencio Guillelme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Unai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Giraldo was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in DUENDES FC's zone, Anselmo Innocenzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Elivareo came out of the goal and Anselmo Innocenzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Anier Unai managed to get in a good position for a shot. DUENDES FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anier Unai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Guillelme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, DUENDES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Rocio came free, but Geronimo Elivareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Anier Firmin made a precise shot to the right of Geronimo Elivareo. DUENDES FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Fermin Gabrio charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Gabrio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to DUENDES FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Fermin Gabrio hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in DUENDES FC's zone, Emiliano Rocio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Elivareo came out of the goal and Emiliano Rocio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Innocenzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Elivareo having to interfere. When Gustavo Giraldo came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the DUENDES FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Giraldo couldn't finish the play. Ares FC's Anselmo Innocenzio got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ares FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Elpidio Balendin hit a great ball. Ares FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
