Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Honorato Blasco kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Ivan Lluis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gil AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Lluis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Prejun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. RIVER PLATE's Uriel Prejun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Sansone in the 23rd minute of play. Uriel Prejun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Sansone in the 32nd minute of the match. Uriel Prejun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Saturnino Sansone showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Saturnino Sansone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Orkatz made a kick off. If Eustacio Galsino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 played minutes Gil AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Arias. Saturnino Sansone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Uriel Prejun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RIVER PLATE's Marcelo Orkatz got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Gil AFC's Hermengildo Tohias got control of the ball when Eustacio Galsino tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of RIVER PLATE booed when Gil AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, RIVER PLATE's Valentin Ishmael broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Uriel Prejun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Sansone, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When Saturnino Sansone, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 93 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Uriel Prejun was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
