Geronimo Elivareo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Sansone, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in DUENDES FC's zone, Gustavo Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Elivareo came out of the goal and Gustavo Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermengildo Tohias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Giraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Saturnino Sansone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saturnino Sansone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Geronimo Elivareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Gil AFC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Gil AFC's Saturnino Sansone looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Geronimo Elivareo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Sansone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geronimo Elivareo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Sansone, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Sansone in the 40th minute of play forced DUENDES FC's goalkeeper Geronimo Elivareo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geronimo Elivareo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Lluis in the 42nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Sansone in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geronimo Elivareo saved DUENDES FC from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Giraldo to strike the kick off in the second half. Saturnino Sansone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Elivareo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Saturnino Sansone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gil AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnino Sansone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geronimo Elivareo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anier Unai charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anier Unai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Anier Unai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saturnino Sansone received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Geronimo Elivareo came out and tried to block the shot, but Saturnino Sansone slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 76th minute. After 79 played minutes Gil AFC got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Ostots. After recieving a nice pass, DUENDES FC's Leo Maiorga tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 84thth minute of the game Saturnino Sansone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DUENDES FC's Geronimo Elivareo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saturnino Sansone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geronimo Elivareo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. When the match was over Gil AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than DUENDES FC throughout the match.
