The referee showed Erubiel Bakar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Rolando Guzman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nonogasta's Julian Jurgi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Virila in the 23rd minute of play. Nonogasta's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Guzman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Matteo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prospero Perico who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Julian Jurgi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rolando Guzman kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Urbano Enol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nonogasta's supporters rose to their feet, but Urbano Enol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Matteo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amadeo Oxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Antonio Eder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Silverio Matteo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silverio Matteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Oxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 85th play minutes Amadeo Oxel shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Silverio Matteo and just under the crossbar into goal. Nonogasta were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Independiente to leave the ground with a draw.
