Spectators: 7091 (Terracing: 5427, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcelo Orkatz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Uriel Prejun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Jon, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 13th minute Leo Jon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Prejun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Flavio Dimas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uriel Prejun was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Orkatz in the 17th minute of play forced Helvecia AFC's goalkeeper Florencio Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Orkatz took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florencio Figueroa. Florencio Figueroa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Marcelo Orkatz came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the RIVER PLATE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Orkatz couldn't finish the play. Saverio Harri's late challenge caught a RIVER PLATE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saverio Harri helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Helvecia AFC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Saverio Harri hit a great ball. Eustacio Galsino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Orkatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Prejun came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Helvecia AFC's Leo Jon. But to his dismay, Leo Jon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Marcelo Orkatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Figueroa having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in RIVER PLATE's zone, Leo Jon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Prejun came out of the goal and Leo Jon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Jon came free, but Uriel Prejun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leo Jon to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Helvecia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Toribio came free, but Florencio Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Orkatz in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florencio Figueroa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute of the game, Jonatan Gabon landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Marcelo Orkatz's late challenge caught a Helvecia AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Orkatz helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes RIVER PLATE got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Orkatz. In the 61st minute, Saverio Harri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejandro Sanduru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, RIVER PLATE's Uriel Prejun got control of the ball when Flavio Dimas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florencio Figueroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Orkatz in the 73rd minute of the match. RIVER PLATE's Eustacio Galsino got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florencio Figueroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Galsino in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Orkatz in the 87th minute of play forced Helvecia AFC's goalkeeper Florencio Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Helvecia AFC's zone, Eustacio Galsino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Figueroa came out of the goal and Eustacio Galsino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Celedonio Platon fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Helvecia AFC's protests and gave Celedonio Platon a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Helvecia AFC's Celedonio Platon got a free kick in the 95th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
