The González fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Maidana should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Herminio Ramos made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Jocolí FC's zone, Robustiano Modestio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Eleazar came out of the goal and Robustiano Modestio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Jocolí FC's Pascual Sugoi got a free kick in the 56th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Jocolí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Bieito came free, but Jaime Eleazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robustiano Modestio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Eleazar having to interfere. Jaime Eleazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Bieito in the 67th minute of play. Eugenio Bieito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudio Maidana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herminio Ramos went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Hugo Roldan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Maidana having to interfere.
