After 6 minutes, Severo Savier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bomberos Unidos and the Los Leales players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 10 minutes, Prudencio Veronica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Leales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Veronica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siro Sayveon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celso Gonzalez's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Abel Erasto's late challenge caught a Bomberos Unidos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Erasto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute of the match Saverio Vigil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Ospin skillfully saved the ball. Los Leales's Celso Gonzalez got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th match minute, Bomberos Unidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Mikelats to maneuver through the defense. Siro Sayveon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Celso Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Mincho to make the kick off. With a little luck, Bomberos Unidos's Siro Sayveon got control of the ball when Prudencio Veronica tried to sneak it across the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Los Leales's Prudencio Veronica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Siro Sayveon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Gonzalez in the 84th minute of play forced Bomberos Unidos's goalkeeper Siro Sayveon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Los Leales's Celso Gonzalez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Siro Sayveon. Siro Sayveon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. When Celso Gonzalez came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Los Leales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Gonzalez couldn't finish the play. After 95 played minutes Bomberos Unidos got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Chesus. When the final whistle sounded Los Leales left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bomberos Unidos.
