A collision led to Manzanares getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Clemente Mergildo hit a great ball. After 3 played minutes Los Leales got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Veronica. Juan Gau took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Filomeno Ospin. Los Leales's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Primitivo Lizardi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Filomeno Ospin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Filomeno Ospin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Los Leales's Filomeno Ospin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Lizardi in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Los Leales getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Gavino Ubelteso hit a great ball. Primitivo Lizardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Filomeno Ospin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Gonzalez took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augusto Rodriguez. Augusto Rodriguez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luisito Pacorro hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Manzanares's Primitivo Lizardi got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Rodriguez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celso Gonzalez's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Rene Cefero kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Celso Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Veronica in the 43rd minute of the match. Prudencio Veronica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Rodriguez having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Prudencio Veronica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Celso Gonzalez made the kick off in the second half. Manzanares's Augusto Rodriguez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Manzanares from getting a goal against them. After 56 minutes, Francisco Frederik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Leales and the Manzanares players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Francisco Frederik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prudencio Veronica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Ospin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Cisco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Primitivo Lizardi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 75 played minutes Los Leales got a freekick which was hit by Abel Erasto. After a defensive mix-up in Los Leales's zone, Iker Cisco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Ospin came out of the goal and Iker Cisco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filomeno Ospin came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Manzanares's Iker Cisco. But to his dismay, Iker Cisco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Clemente Mergildo charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Mergildo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Los Leales booed when Manzanares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Mergildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Los Leales's Amador Oro tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Celso Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Rodriguez having to interfere. Celso Gonzalez had several of the Manzanares's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Augusto Rodriguez as he didn't even see the shot coming. 96 minutes into the game, Salvador Tomi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manzanares's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Leales the free kick. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Manzanares! Augusto Rodriguez went to the wrong direction when Amador Oro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Leales walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
