The referee showed Carlos Fertus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to EL TACO NO! getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Carlos Fertus hit a great ball. Mauricio Eate, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 26 minutes in the game, Jonatan Luar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bernardino Huly having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Marcos Ulizes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL TACO NO!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Ulizes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Hondo in the 33rd minute of play forced EL TACO NO!'s goalkeeper Bernardino Huly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Guascan's Bernardino Huly threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernabe Hondo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Prudencio Pudes fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL TACO NO!'s protests and gave Prudencio Pudes a yellow card for diving instead. Damian Ponce who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Enzo Gimenez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
