Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) González's Eugenio Bieito started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 5 minutes, Romulo Fortun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Claudio Maidana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Frutos went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eugenio Bieito was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. González's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When González's Eugenio Bieito in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brinkmann's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th minute of the match Paulino Bermudez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudio Maidana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Claudio Maidana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Fortun in the 26th minute of the match. González's Claudio Maidana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Fortun in the 38th minute of play. Romulo Fortun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Robustiano Modestio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Modestio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The González players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brinkmann were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Frutos to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romulo Fortun in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Maidana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eugenio Bieito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Fiz having to interfere. Ruben Shepherd's late challenge caught a González's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Shepherd helped the player get up and apologised. Brinkmann's Cirilo Fiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Bieito in the 57th minute of play. Cirilo Fiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Modestio in the 60th minute of the match. With a little luck, González's Claudio Maidana got control of the ball when Romulo Fortun tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Brinkmann's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Modestio came free, but Cirilo Fiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Frutos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes Brinkmann got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Perrando. Romulo Fortun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Claudio Maidana made a huge save. After 80 played minutes Brinkmann got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Fortun. González's Claudio Maidana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save González from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, González's goalkeeper Claudio Maidana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romulo Fortun. Cirilo Fiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Modestio in the 89th minute of play. Romulo Fortun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Maidana having to interfere. Romulo Fortun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Claudio Maidana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Brinkmann's Nereo Fero got a free kick in the 96th minute. Robustiano Modestio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Cirilo Fiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Brinkmann had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
