Florencio Txema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Kinsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonatan Firmo made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Zeledon Kinsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Articuno Blizzards fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Maximo Jerrald fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MiRey's protests and gave Maximo Jerrald a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Articuno Blizzards booed when MiRey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Jerrald didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, MiRey's Florencio Txema got control of the ball when Emanuel Hanni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilfredo Luzea in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 76th play minute Zeledon Kinsen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Florencio Txema. 1-2.
