Spectators: 7065 (Terracing: 5515, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jonatan Firmo kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, MiRey's Luis Orixe got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 8th minute, Gonzalo Ponciano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enrique Naelio. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of MiRey booed when Bailanta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Casomiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonatan Firmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Enrique Naelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcelo Guillelmo fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bailanta FC's protests and gave Marcelo Guillelmo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, one of Bailanta FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bailanta FC. In the 17th minute of the game, MiRey got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Florencio Txema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Cordeara, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Luis Orixe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MiRey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Orixe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MiRey's Romulo Gudesteo got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Constantino Maurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Firmo got free with Enrique Naelio in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Enrique Naelio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Romulo Gudesteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Naelio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bailanta FC's zone, Gonzalo Ponciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Naelio came out of the goal and Gonzalo Ponciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Orixe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Enrique Naelio made a huge save. Romulo Gudesteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Naelio having to interfere. After 46 minutes of play, MiRey's Luis Orixe made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Naelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Cordeara was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of MiRey booed when Bailanta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Maurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramiro Rius hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes Bailanta FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Stephen. In the 60th minute Romulo Gudesteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Naelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When MiRey's Jonatan Firmo in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bailanta FC's goalie prevented a goal. Luis Orixe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Naelio having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, MiRey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Arnau to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes, Bailanta FC's Marciano Efren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florencio Txema came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bailanta FC reached it. The supporters of Bailanta FC booed when MiRey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Orixe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes, Bailanta FC's Constantino Maurin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florencio Txema came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bailanta FC reached it. Gonzalo Ponciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximo Jerrald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Maximo Jerrald managed to get in a good position for a shot. MiRey's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Jerrald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Naelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bailanta FC's goalkeeper Enrique Naelio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luis Orixe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Enrique Naelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Bailanta FC got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Orkatz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Ponciano in the 88th minute of play forced Bailanta FC's goalkeeper Enrique Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Guillelmo was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Bailanta FC's Marcelo Guillelmo got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Romulo Gudesteo came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the MiRey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Gudesteo couldn't finish the play. Luis Orixe kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the MiRey players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
