El Replico's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Lesardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Bieito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Nabar during the 19th minute. The El Replico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Takis Soukis should have stopped the shot. If Ramon Esdras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Aztore kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Salada Grande's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Esdras came free, but Alejandro Bieito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Salada Grande booed when El Replico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Salbatore didn't get a good kick on the ball.
