The shot was stopped by Alfonso Iruinea but with some difficulty. Wilfredo Acuña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, one of Oling Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Oling Club. The referee gave Club Atlético Boedo a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luis Bortzaioriz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Oling Club's Alfonso Iruinea. 1-0. Benjamin Larpe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Isaio having to make a save. Valentin Manny was shown his second yellow card after 22 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 23rd match minute, Club Atlético Boedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Manny to maneuver through the defense. A hard, long distance shot from Federico Restu flew over the goal. If Benjamin Larpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Oling Club's Alfonso Iruinea got control of the ball when Dalmacio Bonadona tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Boedo's goalkeeper Leonides Isaio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Dalmacio Bonadona could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Alfonso Iruinea however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalmacio Bonadona was the one to do the kick off. Club Atlético Boedo's Dalmacio Bonadona got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 58 minutes, Wilfredo Acuña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Boedo and the Oling Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wilfredo Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Dalmacio Bonadona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Iruinea having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Oling Club's zone, Aaron Evis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Iruinea came out of the goal and Aaron Evis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Larpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Wilfredo Acuña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Larpe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Leonides Isaio made a huge save. Leonides Isaio came out of the goal and Benjamin Larpe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Atlético Boedo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
