In the 6th minute, Arnoldo Eneas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Deportivo Escobarense's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Oier came free, but Aurelio Charro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Guillem hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Haroldo Thomas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aurelio Charro. Deportivo Escobarense's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 23rdth minute of the game Patricio Urtats who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Escobarense's Aurelio Charro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teobaldo Oier scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Charro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aurelio Charro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Oier, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 32nd play minutes Teobaldo Oier shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Aurelio Charro and just under the crossbar into goal. Vedia's Filiberto Libertad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Guillem in the 42nd minute of play. If Wilfredo Guillem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Arnoldo Eneas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Charro having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Vedia's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Naike came free, but Filiberto Libertad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Oier got free with Aurelio Charro in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 minutes of play, Vedia's Teobaldo Oier made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Charro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vedia's Filiberto Libertad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Naike in the 70th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Teobaldo Oier got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Patricio Urtats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Charro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Escobarense's Gustavo Naike got a free kick in the 77th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Guillem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filiberto Libertad. Vedia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Guillem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Patricio Urtats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Charro made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Teobaldo Oier sent off a good shot on target. The Vedia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vedia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
