Evelio Innocenzio's late challenge caught a Andino Sport Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Innocenzio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Andino Sport Club booed when Cabal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Innocenzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Vito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Vedillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evelio Innocenzio in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Vito saved Andino Sport Club from getting behind. Jeremias Vedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Vito having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Andino Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Vedillo came free, but Fausto Vito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Endira in the 31st minute of play forced Cabal FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Froila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Evelio Innocenzio made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Vito. Andino Sport Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nicasio Endira struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Gerardo Froila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andino Sport Club. Jonas Etxahun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Froila having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evelio Innocenzio to make the kick off. If Jeremias Vedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Nicasio Endira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gerardo Froila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Endira in the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cabal FC's Agustin Tximitx got a free kick in the 75th minute. Fausto Vito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Vedillo in the 77th minute. Jeremias Vedillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Fausto Vito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
