The supporters of Recoleta FC booed when Andino Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Serapio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Hechter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Vito having to interfere. Ignacio Fidensio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Fausto Vito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Fidensio got free with Fausto Vito in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Hechter in the 15th minute of play forced Andino Sport Club's goalkeeper Fausto Vito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Etxahun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimiro Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicasio Endira's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Ignacio Fidensio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Fausto Vito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Rolando Hechter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Andino Sport Club's zone, Ignacio Fidensio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Vito came out of the goal and Ignacio Fidensio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodoro Ezkerra's late challenge caught a Recoleta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Ezkerra helped the player get up and apologised. When Rolando Hechter came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Recoleta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Hechter couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Andino Sport Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rolando Hechter fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Rolando Hechter managed to get in a good position for a shot.
