An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Fidensio in the 10th minute of play forced Minorías AC's goalkeeper Inocencio Rio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmelo Orixe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casimiro Barros having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Fidensio during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Recoleta FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. The Minorías AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Orixe in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casimiro Barros saved Recoleta FC from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Rolando Hechter made the kick off in the second half. Carmelo Orixe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Barros having to interfere. If Arturo Romelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Carmelo Orixe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmelo Orixe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Casimiro Barros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Casimiro Barros came out of the goal and Carmelo Orixe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomiro Resto hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Recoleta FC's goalkeeper Casimiro Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Feliciano Berto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Casimiro Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Minorías AC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Recoleta FC throughout the match.
