Elvio Iban started the match with the kick off. Fausto Vito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Iban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Fausto Vito successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Andino Sport Club's goalkeeper Fausto Vito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonas Etxahun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Elvio Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicasio Endira took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elvio Romero. Elvio Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jonas Etxahun scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvio Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elvio Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Etxahun in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Teodoro Ezkerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Andino Sport Club and the Alemano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teodoro Ezkerra hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elvio Iban in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Vito saved Andino Sport Club from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Andino Sport Club's zone, Elvio Iban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Vito came out of the goal and Elvio Iban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Alemano booed when Andino Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Atauri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernabe Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Vito having to interfere.

Alemano's Elvio Romero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Alemano from getting a goal against them. After 62 minutes Andino Sport Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Francisco Hats who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Francisco Hats got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fausto Vito quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bernabe Guzman took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto Vito. Fausto Vito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 78th minute, Jonas Etxahun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elvio Romero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After 80 played minutes Andino Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Serapio. A collision led to Alemano getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Cornelio Otsando hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Elvio Iban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Vito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Alemano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Porfiro to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Andino Sport Club's Daniel Atauri broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Andino Sport Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
