Mataderos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Jatsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustavo Naike charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Naike the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gustavo Naike hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Aurelio Charro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Jatsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Escobarense's goalkeeper Aurelio Charro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mataderos FC's Eduardo Azubeli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Naike in the 20th minute of play. The corner led Deportivo Escobarense's Fabricio Eguerdi to fire away a dangerous shot which Eduardo Azubeli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Desiderio Seber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Eduardo Azubeli made a huge save. Aurelio Charro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Remicio in the 26th minute of play. A very nice done corner allowed Basilio Misael to score against Aurelio Charro in Deportivo Escobarense's goal. 1-1 after 29 minutes. 33 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Jatsu notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Deportivo Escobarense's Aurelio Charro. Aurelio Charro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lorenzo Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Domingo Remicio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Charro having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 54th minute of the match, Lorenzo Jatsu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aurelio Charro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aurelio Charro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Jatsu in the 55th minute. Aurelio Charro made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Lorenzo Jatsu sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Deportivo Escobarense's Aurelio Charro got control of the ball when Domingo Remicio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurelio Charro came out of the goal and Domingo Remicio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelio Charro was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Lorenzo Jatsu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lorenzo Jatsu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Lorenzo Jatsu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelio Charro came out and tried to block the shot, but Lorenzo Jatsu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 73rd minute. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
