When Eulalio Paublo came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Chucuma FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Paublo couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Rafael Afonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Telmo charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Telmo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guillermo Napier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Garci scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernabe Mateo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th match minute, Candelarias AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Salomon to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leo Garci was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Petrigai in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Quico saved Chucuma FC from getting behind. Mariano Petrigai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Rafael Afonso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Quico was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Candelarias AFC's Bernabe Mateo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Garci in the 62nd minute of play. Leo Garci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Bernabe Mateo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carolo Huly got free with Bernabe Mateo in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernabe Mateo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Garci in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Chucuma FC's Leo Garci ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernabe Mateo. Bernabe Mateo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Bernabe Mateo made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Carolo Huly sent off a good shot on target. Rigoberto Rafel charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Rafel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 89 minutes into the match, Chucuma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Afonso came free, but Virgilio Quico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
