The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maximo Nikola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramon Ted received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ramiro Quin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Mouricio hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Ramon Ted managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BOKE JUNIOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Ted was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marco Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Vergarabat F.C. defense, Ramon Ted kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Quin. The Vergarabat F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Quin should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Maximo Nikola made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro Quin. Vergarabat F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Vergarabat F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Ted came free, but Ramiro Quin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Quin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Nikola in the 34th minute of the match. Ramiro Quin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Nikola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximo Nikola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Quin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Nikola in the 47th minute of play forced Vergarabat F.C.'s goalkeeper Ramiro Quin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Vergarabat F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BOKE JUNIOR were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zeledon Loiola to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ramon Ted managed to get in a good position for a shot. BOKE JUNIOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Ted was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Quin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 57 minutes of play, BOKE JUNIOR's Ramon Ted made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramiro Quin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in BOKE JUNIOR's zone, Zeledon Loiola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Bastian came out of the goal and Zeledon Loiola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ramon Ted came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the BOKE JUNIOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Ted couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Abaunza in the 72nd minute of play forced BOKE JUNIOR's goalkeeper Jacinto Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Quin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximo Nikola's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. When Clemente Eguen fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vergarabat F.C.'s protests and gave Clemente Eguen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, Vergarabat F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Eguen to maneuver through the defense. Ramon Ted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Quin having to interfere. With an all-out effort, BOKE JUNIOR's Ramiro Quin threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximo Nikola, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Severiano Galindo fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vergarabat F.C.'s protests and gave Severiano Galindo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vergarabat F.C.'s Severiano Galindo got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Ramon Ted got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vergarabat F.C.'s Ramiro Quin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Nikola in the 93rd minute of play. BOKE JUNIOR's Maximo Nikola got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
