A collision led to Larroque FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Domingos Kiliz hit a great ball. Larroque FC's Rigoberto Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Aurre in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Larroque FC's zone, Haroldo Gartxot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Txatxu came out of the goal and Haroldo Gartxot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norberto Aurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Txatxu having to interfere. When Roman Erlantz fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macapillo's protests and gave Roman Erlantz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Roman Erlantz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. German Gauargi was the one to do the kick off. Macapillo's Anier Gelacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Gauargi in the 52nd minute of play. Anier Gelacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Sayvion in the 65th minute of play. In the 73rd minute German Gauargi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Gelacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Larroque FC booed when Macapillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Evarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Larroque FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Patrido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute German Gauargi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Gelacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Larroque FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
