An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Ekain in the 11th minute of play forced Fulanito's goalkeeper Clemente Intxixu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atlético Belgrano's Victoriano Ignazio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Costante in the 14th minute of play. Dario Beremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Ignazio having to interfere. After 22 played minutes, Fulanito's Ladislao Ritchie shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victoriano Ignazio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fulanito reached it. Victoriano Ignazio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Beremundo in the 25th minute of the match. After 28 minutes, Gabriel Virila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Belgrano and the Fulanito players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, one of Club Atlético Belgrano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atlético Belgrano. When Rodolfo Ekain came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Club Atlético Belgrano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Ekain couldn't finish the play. Victoriano Ignazio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Steven in the 42nd minute of the match. If Florentino Steven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Dario Beremundo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victoriano Ignazio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

The wind increased when Dario Beremundo made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolfo Ekain in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Intxixu saved Fulanito from getting behind. Federico Gasteiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Clemente Intxixu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Ekain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente Intxixu having to make a save. Dario Beremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Victoriano Ignazio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Fulanito booed when Club Atlético Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Fulanito's Dario Beremundo got a free kick in the 78th minute. Abel Lluciano charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Lluciano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abel Lluciano kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Florentino Steven had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Ignazio. Club Atlético Belgrano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentino Steven was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Dario Beremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
