Leonides Seber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Cresenciano in the 41st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cecilio Cilio during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvador Hitz got free with Leonides Seber in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Salvador Hitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvador Hitz to strike the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Perico charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erasmo Perico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Erasmo Perico got a free kick in the 51st minute. Iker Cresenciano might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonides Seber. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santino FC's Teofilo Cai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Geleberto in the 85th minute of play. If Rafael Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Hitz came free, but Leonides Seber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
