Palermo's Leonides Seber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Roderigo in the 6th minute of play. Modesto Geleberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Baumer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Seber having to interfere. When Modesto Geleberto came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Palermo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Geleberto couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Morea's Diego Roderigo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Diego Roderigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Seber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Diego Roderigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Seber having to interfere. If Robustiano Ramone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Modesto Geleberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Modesto Geleberto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diego Roderigo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Leonides Seber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morea. 58 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Roderigo came free, but Leonides Seber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rafael Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68thth minute of the game Diego Roderigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palermo's Leonides Seber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rafael Baumer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonides Seber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Ramone, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Marcelino Lawrence charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Lawrence the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute, Marcelino Lawrence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Morea getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Dalmacio Mambru hit a great ball. Gualterio Seber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Baumer in the 86th minute. In the 86th minute, Palermo's Rafael Baumer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. If Diego Roderigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
