After a rather tough play, C.A. BANFIELD's Isaias Sabino got a free kick in the 10th minute. Anacleto Nataniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Seixas, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Gilberto Pello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th match minute, Gladiador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Cesario to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, C.A. BANFIELD's Gilberto Pello got a free kick in the 28th minute. Anacleto Nataniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Jerico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambrosio Telmo during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Bilbo in the 43rd minute of play forced Gladiador's goalkeeper Anacleto Nataniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Bilbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Anacleto Nataniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half C.A. BANFIELD were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Bilbo made a kick off. Ariel Cesario kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Pablo Jerico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Anacleto Nataniel made a huge save. If Antonio Madeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of C.A. BANFIELD booed when Gladiador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Laurgain didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Gladiador's goalkeeper Anacleto Nataniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustacio Aznaro. Daniel Seixas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isaias Sabino kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Diego Bilbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Nataniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Aznaro got free with Anacleto Nataniel in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anacleto Nataniel made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Diego Bilbo sent off a good shot on target. Anacleto Nataniel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isaias Ieltxu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 92 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C.A. BANFIELD walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
