With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixto Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Pujol AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Desiderio Cordeara hit a great ball. Abelardo Senin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Garoa having to interfere. Casimiro Abad struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Sixto Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pujol AFC. Casimiro Abad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sixto Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of Pujol AFC booed when Sportivo Talarense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Quintin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Sportivo Talarense's goalkeeper Sixto Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casimiro Abad. In the 56th minute, Amado Orlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Stephen in the 58th minute of play forced Pujol AFC's goalkeeper Uriel Garoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Sportivo Talarense's Cosme Stephen made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uriel Garoa was left in no man's land by his defense there!
