To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paolo Iturri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Desiderio Tipi having to make a save. If Manuel Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Iturri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Desiderio Tipi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabricio Nerio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Armindo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 36th minute, Omar Pes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Jenaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Omar Pes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Jenaro having to interfere. Ariel Jenaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Nerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Fabricio Nerio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ariel Jenaro. The goal made the score 3-0.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Pes couldn't finish the play.
