After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Melchor Distiratsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferri's supporters rose to their feet, but Melchor Distiratsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Demario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Donostia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Mercurio, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melchor Distiratsu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcos Donostia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Herauso was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Marcos Donostia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcos Donostia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Ferri's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
