Julio Herauso didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 9th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After some careless play in the Hersilia AFC defense, Melchor Distiratsu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorato Soin. The Hersilia AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorato Soin should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Melchor Distiratsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferri's supporters rose to their feet, but Melchor Distiratsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Soin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Carmelo Maria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 26 minutes, Candido Eutropio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Eutropio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodosio Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Soin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodosio Batista went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carmelo Maria to strike the kick off in the second half. When Melchor Distiratsu came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ferri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Distiratsu couldn't finish the play. Julio Herauso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angel Peio's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Teodosio Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Soin having to interfere. Honorato Soin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Distiratsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th match minute, Hersilia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Otsoko to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Melchor Distiratsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melchor Distiratsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Honorato Soin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodosio Batista got free with Honorato Soin in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Maria in the 85th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Hersilia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Distiratsu came free, but Honorato Soin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute Melchor Distiratsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Soin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmelo Maria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
