The shot was stopped by Desiderio Tipi but with some difficulty. In the 20th minute, Flavio Locaio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fabricio Nerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Locaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Tipi having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Flavio Locaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Armindo's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Locaio came free, but Desiderio Tipi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siro Bernat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomás Claris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Nerio in the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Flavio Locaio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Desiderio Tipi. Flavio Locaio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Flavio Locaio made the kick off in the second half. Palermo Futbol Club's Tomás Claris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Nerio in the 54th minute of play. After some careless play in the Armindo defense, Flavio Locaio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Desiderio Tipi. The Armindo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Desiderio Tipi should have stopped the shot. Flavio Locaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Albano Menendo fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo Futbol Club's protests and gave Albano Menendo a yellow card for diving instead. 76 minutes in the game Astor Eneto after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Tomás Claris. A very good opportunity. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabricio Nerio in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Claris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Pes got free with Tomás Claris in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siro Bernat during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Palermo Futbol Club's Siro Bernat got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Fabricio Nerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo Futbol Club's goalkeeper Tomás Claris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Palermo Futbol Club's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
