An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Marino in the 12th minute of play forced C.A.I's goalkeeper Jorge Frechoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Frechoso came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by San Andreas's Samuel Sabino. But to his dismay, Samuel Sabino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Leon Ferrer hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Samuel Sabino struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jorge Frechoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Andreas. San Andreas's Javier Peruxu got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Sabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Norberto Marino fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Andreas's protests and gave Norberto Marino a yellow card for diving instead. Jorge Frechoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Sabino went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Samuel Sabino took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Frechoso. Jorge Frechoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Norberto Marino kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Samuel Sabino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jorge Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Norberto Marino notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of C.A.I's Jorge Frechoso. Jorge Frechoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Sabino was the one to do the kick off. Norberto Marino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Frechoso having to interfere. Matias Eusko hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Javier Peruxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Andreas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Peruxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. C.A.I's Jorge Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Marino in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.I's zone, Angel Firmin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Frechoso came out of the goal and Angel Firmin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Norberto Marino came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the San Andreas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Marino couldn't finish the play. Angel Firmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Norberto Marino came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the San Andreas fans jumped to their feet. San Andreas's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Sabino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
