Gonzalo Pitin charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonzalo Pitin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Esteve Guillem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Oliveiro's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Pura Mistica's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Lorien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The Pampa Plate fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pura Mistica had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
