Freddy Dunixi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Frechoso having to interfere. After 21 minutes, Julian Dimas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.I and the Pum Pum Pum players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Gitano in the 24th minute of play forced C.A.I's goalkeeper Jorge Frechoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pum Pum Pum's goalkeeper Jonatan Celipe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joaquin Osoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jonatan Celipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Pum Pum Pum's Jonatan Celipe got control of the ball when Isidro Hurko tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match Aldo Dolfo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Frechoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leonel Gitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 49th minute of the match Pum Pum Pum got a corner. C.A.I's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aldo Dolfo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Pum Pum Pum's Aldo Dolfo to fire away a dangerous shot which Jorge Frechoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Ildefonso Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Gitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jorge Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.I's zone, Leonel Gitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Frechoso came out of the goal and Leonel Gitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ildefonso Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Leonel Gitano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonel Gitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Frechoso having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Isidro Hurko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.I's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pum Pum Pum the free kick. After 93 minutes of play C.A.I's Ildefonso Sancho was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ildefonso Sancho hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Pum Pum Pum's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
