Marcelo Montxo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Frasquito in the 8th minute. Mariano Figueroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Abar having to interfere. After 23 minutes, Cristo Paio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Horqueta and the Casla players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Horqueta got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Paio. If Mariano Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Segundo Mambru put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Honorato Abar. With a little luck, Casla's Marcelo Montxo got control of the ball when Aquiles Aguirre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelo Montxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Aguirre, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Horqueta's Aquiles Aguirre got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 minutes, Mariano Figueroa made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Horqueta's Honorato Abar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aquiles Aguirre was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquiles Aguirre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Casla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Isaio to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Casla's zone, Aquiles Aguirre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Montxo came out of the goal and Aquiles Aguirre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorato Abar made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Segundo Mambru sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Figueroa in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Abar saved Horqueta from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Segundo Mambru made a precise shot to the right of Honorato Abar. Horqueta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. If Mariano Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorato Abar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Figueroa in the 88th minute of the match. Julio Mon's late challenge caught a Horqueta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Mon helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Horqueta booed when Casla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Mon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segundo Mambru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Honorato Abar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Casla's Mariano Figueroa in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Horqueta's goalie prevented a goal. Casla's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
