Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alejo Cruz started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Figueroa in the 5th minute of play forced Esperanza FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Oriche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segundo Mambru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Adolfo Oriche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Esperanza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Figueroa came free, but Adolfo Oriche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliciano Inguma kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Casla's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Ilixo came free, but Marcelo Montxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Oriche acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Desiderio Aureo. Mariano Figueroa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Oriche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Casla's zone, Feliciano Ilixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Montxo came out of the goal and Feliciano Ilixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Segundo Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casla's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo Mambru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Oriche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Segundo Mambru's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adolfo Oriche firmly grabbed it by the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Figueroa made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Julio Mon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adolfo Oriche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The supporters of Casla booed when Esperanza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Calixto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Esperanza FC's Feliciano Ilixo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Montxo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariano Figueroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Oriche having to interfere. If Segundo Mambru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejo Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Marcelo Montxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esperanza FC's Alejo Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Feliciano Ilixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Esperanza FC's Alejo Cruz in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Casla's goalie prevented a goal. Adolfo Oriche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Mambru in the 92nd minute of play. Mariano Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Adolfo Oriche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
