But to his dismay, Conrado Veto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Conrado Veto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejo Cruz had several of the Víboras's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Aristides Calixto as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Maximo Calixto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esperanza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Calixto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Calixto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the match, Víboras's goalkeeper Aristides Calixto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliciano Ilixo. If Alejo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Feliciano Ilixo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristides Calixto. Víboras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliciano Ilixo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Alejo Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aristides Calixto was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosme Bero during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Víboras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Bero to maneuver through the defense. In the 68thth minute of the game Feliciano Ilixo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Víboras's Aristides Calixto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conrado Veto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Adolfo Oriche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnulfo Jon scored 2-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo Oriche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th match minute, Víboras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Rameriz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 81 minutes, Feliciano Ilixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esperanza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Ilixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aristides Calixto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Cruz in the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Feliciano Ilixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esperanza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Ilixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
