Spectators: 7365 (Terracing: 5525, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alejo Cruz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Balnearia FC's Samuel Joey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Balnearia FC from getting a goal against them. If Alejo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15thth minute of the game Alejo Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balnearia FC's Samuel Joey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Feliciano Ilixo might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Joey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliciano Ilixo ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 18 minutes, Jesus Munio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balnearia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Munio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Balnearia FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ermegildo Santo hit a great ball. Balnearia FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Feliciano Ilixo scored to the left of an out of position Samuel Joey, making the score, 2-0. Feliciano Ilixo in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Samuel Joey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 32 played minutes Balnearia FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Guillelmo. Angelo Frasco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samuel Joey. Balnearia FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 35th minute, Feliciano Ilixo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Joey was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 39th minute, Alejo Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Joey. Balnearia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Corderro to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Natalio Ilixo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balnearia FC and the Esperanza FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Balnearia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Ilixo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 53 minutes, Alejo Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esperanza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Corderro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Oriche having to interfere. Esperanza FC's Alejo Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Feliciano Ilixo came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Esperanza FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Ilixo couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Balnearia FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Esperanza FC:s goal. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Esperanza FC. Angelo Frasco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Samuel Joey. 6-0. When Benedicto Guillelmo fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balnearia FC's protests and gave Benedicto Guillelmo a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Balnearia FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Guillelmo. After recieving a nice pass, Esperanza FC's Angelo Frasco tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alejo Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes Balnearia FC got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Hitzeder. Samuel Joey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliciano Ilixo went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Esperanza FC booed when Balnearia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Santo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Esperanza FC's Alejo Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Joey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Jesus Munio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Joey came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Esperanza FC's Alejo Cruz. But to his dismay, Alejo Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. There was no doubt that Esperanza FC were the better team. Esperanza FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
