The supporters of Balnearia FC booed when Riverpool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrício Olivera lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Riverpool! In the 20th match minute, Balnearia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Corderro to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Eliseo Igon managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Balnearia FC's Jesus Munio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Antonio Checa came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Riverpool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Checa couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute Maximino Rozarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Rozarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Joey having to interfere. Maximino Rozarius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Maximino Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Maximino Rozarius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samuel Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Louis in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Riverpool booed when Balnearia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Hitzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximino Rozarius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Samuel Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Rozarius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Igon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Corderro's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Maximino Rozarius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riverpool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Rozarius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Riverpool's Eliseo Igon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Munio in the 70th minute of play. Felix Ubelteso hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Samuel Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Rozarius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximino Rozarius struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Samuel Joey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riverpool. 83 minutes into the game, Riverpool's Elpidio Ur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Joey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 89th minute, Generoso Balesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Ilixo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseo Igon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Jesus Munio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Igon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riverpool were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
