In the 35th of the match, Moises Ebardo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Marcelo Montxo got in the way and made a wonderful save. Ciriaco Cebo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Figueroa in the 39th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gómez's zone, Mariano Figueroa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Cebo came out of the goal and Mariano Figueroa tried to chip the ball over his head. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Figueroa to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Gómez's goalkeeper Ciriaco Cebo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Mambru. Mariano Figueroa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Ciriaco Cebo 61 minutes into the match. If Julio Mon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Cebo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Figueroa's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, Casla's Raimundo Txeru got a free kick in the 77th minute. Julio Mon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Casla's Mariano Figueroa in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gómez's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Mariano Figueroa put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Ciriaco Cebo.
